This year’s conference focuses on the philosophies and practices of sustainability, socio-cultural practice and story telling. The conference will challenge you to think about the value of relationships, resilience and respect and how these concepts are manifested in home-based early childhood education and care.  

The conference starts at 2.00pm on Friday 17th September and finishes with lunch at 1.00pm on Sunday 19th September. 

The Grand Chancellor Airport Hotel is conveniently situated three kilometres from Auckland Airport.

There is a range of accommodation available there, or at other nearby hotels. Accommodation needs to be booked and paid for separately from the conference fee.  Conference spaces are limited and preference will be given to those living in for the whole weekend. Bookings for Saturday only attendance will be limited.

Accomodation Costs are $120 - $140 per night twin share at the Grand Chancellor. Conference Fee will be approxiamately $275 per person however until all details have been finalised for the programme this may be subject to change.
