Message from Dr Peter Lind, Director, Teachers Council

In this message I am taking another opportunity to promote workshops for Registered Teacher Criteria now that many of you are back from  the term break and starting off a new term.  We are inviting enrolments from professional leaders or the person in an institution who is mainly responsible for registration of provisional and experienced teachers.  We are also inviting enrolments from advisors who have a role in supporting schools and early childhood education services to apply the criteria for appraisal for registration and / or induction and mentoring of provisionally registered teachers. 

In all cases, we ask for only one enrolment per institution.  This may alter if demand is less than expected.  Workshops begin in the Auckland area on 25 May.
