New Zealand Homebased Early Childhood Education Association signs Memorandum of Understanding with Barnardos

Jane Couch, President NZHECEA and Murray Edridge, CEO of Barnardos on the 18th of February 2010 signed a memorandum of understanding between the two organisations which recognises the independence, integrity and policies of each other whilst agreeing to work together and maintain a mutual relationship based on trust and respect for the purpose of facilitating collaboration, knowledge. communication and understanding as organisations involved in Homebased Early Childhood Education in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Memorandum of Understanding is part of the action plan to meet the strategy of building collaborative relationships between organisations as identified within the Strategic Plan for Homebased Early Childhood Education Services released in April 2009.
